January 30, 2012 Leave a comment

We have a variety of QA positions available right now in the Denver/Boulder area and would love to talk with you about them if you are a highly motivated individual who promises not to mime during working hours.

If you are a QA person or have a referral for us, contact Andrew at andrewb@bwbacon.com with your resume or call directly at 303-309-0249.

I Love LAMP.

Do you really want to know what love is?  It’s the way we feel for our local LAMP stack developer candidates.  We want you to feel the love … if you don’t feel it, email me.  It’s time for us to take this relationship to new heights.

PHP, Perl, it doesn’t matter – what I love is the whole package, my sweet, sweet LAMP stack developer.

Facebook App Developer needed – Denver

We are looking for a heavy-hitting local Web Developer who is stoked about developing social apps.  Alright, you have to be more than stoked:  you have to be good.

This is a full-time opportunity to build Facebook applications.  This person will build 5-6 Facebook apps over the next 4 months.  Platform/language agnostic, but requires the following:

  • Social Graphing
  • Restful API
  • Someone who has built multiple FB apps, with 100,000’s of users accumulated

Like to apply.

Meet Debbie, Our Cat Recruiter

You should hear me talk about Mobile App Developers… trainwreck.  I just want a house full of them.  And I just want us to roll around.

ColdFusion needed. Nuclear electrochemistry background optional.

You don’t have to be Martin Fleischmann to bring ColdFusion to the BWBacon world.  In fact, if you are Martin Fleischmann, you’re probably too old to do our ColdFusion work.  No offense, Martin – if you think you’ve got the chops, bring it.

So I’m not like a total expert, don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure the 21st century ColdFusion process works something like this (it’s called a “calorimeter” for the simpletons):
